What is a Bike Fit?
Bike fit is a method that has been practiced and improved on over the years. It is used to help a cyclist’s body move freely and without pain or injury while riding their bike. Bicycle fitting is becoming more popular these days and one reason is due to the education that is available to those who are called to practice bike fit. There are companies dedicated to the advancement of products that are designed to assist the fitter in producing a better “body to bicycle” experience.
Who needs a Bike Fit?
If you ride a bicycle for fun, pleasure, commuting, or in a competitive manner, you should get a bike fit.
Even if you have had a bike fit in the past, you may benefit from getting a new one. Our bodies change as we age, increase or decrease our weight, and especially as we improve in performance. The need for adjustments in those cases is highly recommended.
What can happen?
My aim is to help you fit your asymmetrical body on that symmetrical bicycle. With this service I help reduce or eliminate your sore knee, your numb hands or feet or even that pain in your saddle area.
I do this by getting to know your riding style and then using proven methods to help you find that position where you leave my studio feeling like you should have done this a long time ago.
